Light

Light is a project that started with some tests on Wear\Wear and developed into a clothing project of its own. The idea first sparked when I was trying to think of clothing that changed with time. Though they all do, I particularly remembered my grandmother's neighbour and very dear friends Vivian. When inside, or on a rainy day, her t-shirt pictured the planet earth with white oceans. When playing outside on those summer holidays, the earth became mostly a vivid blue. It was funny and very interesting at the same time, how a t-shirt could just react to the weather. A bit like the pink or blue weather-cock I had on my bedroom's window frame. 

Here the light crosses borders, and apart from reacting to the environment, it also mashes-up traditional clothes from different cultures, so we can be at different time zones at the same time : )
